A Life-Changing Experience: Dr. Aleksandar Kondinski’s Journey from YKC to Cambridge

Yahya Kemal College is proud to share a message from our alumnus, Dr. Aleksandar Kondinski, who studied at Yahya Kemal College – Avtokomanda from 2003 to 2007.

After graduating from YKC, Dr. Kondinski continued his academic journey at Jacobs University Bremen in Germany, where he earned a PhD in Chemistry. His research career later took him to prominent institutions across Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, and Belgium. Today, he works at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom.

In his message, Dr. Kondinski reflects on the important role Yahya Kemal College played in his personal and academic development. It was established according to protocols signed between Yahya Kemal secondary schools and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of North Macedonia.

The school is named after Yahya Kemal Beyatlı, a notable Turkish writer and poet who was born in Skopje.
